Refund policy

RETURNS POLICY:

Should you wish to return an item purchased on the online store, please contact us at shop@janevalken.com within a week of receiving your order. In the email please specify why it is you are returning the item and we will handle the return accordingly;

CLOTHING
If the garment arrives damaged or is incorrect: You have the option to return it and exchange it for a replacement, or we can issue you a credit note that will be valid online, or in any of our stores in Cape Town- for up to 12 months, or a full refund. We will cover the courier costs of returning garments that arrive damaged or that is incorrect, and the garment must be returned within 14 days of purchase. NO REFUND ON SALE ITEMS.

If the garment is the wrong size, or not what you wanted: You may exchange it for the correct size or for something else available on our online store, or we can issue a credit note, or a refund. The courier fee for a return, in this case, is for your own account, and the garment must be returned within 7 days of purchase with original tag attached and in perfect condition for resale.

Please note that we will inspect the returned items when they arrive and should we find them in unsuitable condition to be returned, it will be sent back to you.

All returned garments must be in ideal condition for resale; unwashed, unmarked, unworn, and with the labels and tags still attached. We cannot accept damaged, marked, or laundered items.

JEWELLERY

If the item is not what you want; you can exchange it for something else on our online store, or we can issue a credit note to the same value. The courier fee for a return, in this case, is for your own account, and the item must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

Please note that we use natural semi-precious gemstones in our jewellery and therefore inclusions (what looks like small cracks) within the stones are expected. This does not imply damage to the stone, nor lack of quality, but rather speaks to the organic matter of the materials used.
